Transitioning into spring with neutrals

Photography: Haley Dawn Photography

As of late, neutral colors have been my go-to. I love combining taupes, army greens and pastels together for a fresh look. Since spring is almost here, and depending on where you live, the temperatures can have mood swings going from hot to cold. Layering is the number one key when transitioning between seasons. Although most people might associate white pants with spring, I on the other hand, still wear them all year long. However, if you are not one to do that, wearing white jeans before spring works well when pairing them with neutral tones.

I got this amazingly soft & comfy leather jacket that I paired with a striped slouchy tee, from Lou & Grey. I also love a good ankle boot that can be worn with ultimately any outfit, like these I am wearing here from Shop Sosie. The beige color helped to soften the look and add the "neutral color vibe" I am going for. Since I wanted to keep this look more appropriate for the chilly weather here in Georgia, I added a scarf for an accessory to my bag if I were to need it for warmth. Speaking of warmth, I am counting down the days until it is officially shorts & tank top wearing weather! Whose with me?!
